I have owned and loved Border Collies before they were recognized by the AKC. I have been breeding since 1997. I have top obedience and herding lines. I breed for brains,willingness to please and to be your “best friend”. I think the Border Collie is the best companion dog.

At Wildfire, our Border Collies have achieved Championships in various American Kennel Club venues. Some of these fine dogs live here at Wildfire, while others are part of our extended family. Our dogs are loving companions yet they have the proven temperament, structure, and desire to become champions in conformation, obedience, herding, and agility. We take tremendous pride in the beautiful lines that we have combined to create Border Collies that can really do it all.
We are a small kennel in Marengo, Illinois about 65 miles northwest of Chicago. Our family has been involved with Border Collies since 1997 and we have enjoyed training, showing and breeding since then. What we truly appreciate about our Border Collies is how versatile and exceptional they are, no matter the venue they are competing in. We strive to produce a dog that is healthy, beautiful, willing to please with an outgoing, friendly disposition- in other words, a dog we can point to with pride.
Honeyblossom Collies & Shelties are nurtured in a very loving home with true dedication to produce quality in health, temperament, intelligence and longevity.From the obedience ring to the conformation ring, I presented my quality Collies to the judges. I pride myself with homebred champions. Thus, responsibility of my Collies is totally mine. Breeding, raising the young, healthcare, doing all my own handling at the shows, is a love of enjoyment.
